Course Description:
Students will explore foundational fiber and textile arts through creative, hands-on projects. Skills may include hand sewing, embroidery, weaving, finger knitting, beginning crochet, and simple textile construction. Students will practice patience, fine motor skills, creativity, and problem-solving while completing handmade projects in a supportive and welcoming environment. Projects may be adapted for student age, ability, and experience level. Course fees include basic materials and supplies needed for class projects.

This project-based class encourages creativity, craftsmanship, independence, and problem-solving as students design and complete multi-step handmade projects. Course fees include basic materials and supplies needed for standard class projects. Some optional advanced or student-selected projects may require additional supplies.

Course Description:
Students receive individualized or small-group instruction in fiber and textile arts based on their interests and skill level. Lessons may include hand sewing, machine sewing, embroidery, crochet, knitting, weaving, felting, doll making, clothing construction, accessories, or support with a student-selected project. Instruction is customized to each student’s pace, goals, and creative interests. Project materials are not included in this course. Private lessons provide one-on-one instruction while semi-private lessons are designed for 2 to 4 students.
